Job summary

Government Healthcare Facility UAE is seeking a Consultant Cardiac Electrophysiologist to lead the arrhythmia service. You will diagnose, treat, and manage complex rhythm disorders, perform EPS and ablations, and oversee device therapies such as pacemakers and ICDs.

Candidates should hold MBBS/MD with postgraduate Cardiology and fellowship in EP & Pacing, with Western Board credentials preferred. A minimum of 5 years post-specialization experience is required. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiology.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing.
• Western Board qualification preferred (UK CCT/CCST, American/Canadian/Irish Board, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage complex cardiac arrhythmias and rhythm disorders.
• Perform EPS and catheter ablation, including complex arrhythmia ablations.
• Manage AF, flutter, SVT, and ventricular arrhythmias.
• Oversee pacemaker, ICD, and other device procedures.
• Interpret ECGs and Holter studies; guide treatment plans.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and teams.
• Ensure patient safety and monitor outcomes during procedures and follow-up.
• Maintain medical records and comply with policies.
• Engage in audits, teaching, and CME activities.
