Job summary

Bureau Veritas | Marine & Offshore in Dubai seeks a Calibration Manager to oversee calibration and inspection activities, ensuring compliance with procedures and standards. The role includes budgeting, developing C&M policies, and coordinating with Sales for bids and quotations.

You will plan preventive maintenance, manage resources, and supervise a team to meet client requirements while upholding QHSSE standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant field (Instrumentation Engineering preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in calibration and metering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in budgeting, QA/QHSSE compliance, and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, manage and lead calibration and inspection activities per Company and customer requirements.
• Manage departmental budget and analyze spend vs variances to take remedial action.
• Develop and implement C&M policies, standards, processes, and procedures.
• Plan, schedule and conduct preventive maintenance per international standards and procedures.
• Liaise with Sales for quotations, bids and tenders and provide technical advice as required.
• Record and review calibration results and present reports on methods and outcomes.
