Tanqeeb is hiring a Senior Buyer in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will lead supplier qualification, onboarding, and price comparisons to secure best value for our clients and departments.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement, deep knowledge of procurement processes, and a solid grasp of the UAE supplier market. ERP purchasing module experience is essential for coordinating ERP updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on procurement experience.
• Solid knowledge of procurement processes.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE supplier market.
• Experience with the purchasing module of an ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Pre-qualify and onboard reliable suppliers in line with Procurement Policy; prepare price comparisons for approval.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure cost-effective deals without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
• Review quotation terms (payment, delivery, warranty, after-sales service, insurance) to meet requirements.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with site Property Managers.
• Source cost-effective alternatives that meet client standards.
• Evaluate vendor performance and share feedback with the Assistant Purchase Manager.
• Support the Procurement Manager with ERP updates and changes.
