Job summary

Egis Group in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Project Manager for Vehicular Bridges and Tunnels Maintenance to lead complex maintenance and repair programs, ensure safety, longevity and efficiency of critical infrastructure, and coordinate with engineers, contractors and authorities.

The role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering background, 12–15 years of bridge maintenance experience, PMP/PRINCE2 knowledge, strong budgeting and risk management, and proven leadership in multicultural teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field
• 12–15 years of experience in bridge maintenance or related infrastructure projects
• Proven track record of managing large-scale engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of bridge engineering principles and maintenance practices
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2)
• PMP certification preferred
• Experience with project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera)
• Knowledge of UAE construction safety regulations and best practices
• Excellent budgeting and cost control skills
• Strong risk management capabilities
• Understanding of infrastructure asset management principles
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and travel within UAE

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for bridge maintenance and repair initiatives
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and government agencies
• Manage budgets, timelines and resources
• Conduct regular site inspections and assess bridge conditions
• Implement and oversee safety protocols in line with standards
• Analyze project risks and define mitigation strategies
• Prepare and present detailed reports to stakeholders
• Stay updated on bridge maintenance technologies and best practices
• Collaborate with authorities to obtain permits and approvals
• Mentor and lead project team members
• Cost control and revenue reporting to management
