The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and at least 15 years of experience in infrastructure projects, with strong leadership, project management, and contract administration skills. This is a full-time position located in Abu Dhabi.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager Bridges & Structures Maintenance to lead and manage bridge and structural maintenance projects for Al Ain Municipality. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery ensuring compliance with municipal standards safety regulations quality requirements and approved budgets and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee bridges and structures maintenance projects from planning to completion.
• Ensure compliance with Al Ain Municipality Abu Dhabi and international engineering standards and codes.
• Lead project planning scheduling risk management and resource allocation.
• Supervise inspections rehabilitation strengthening and maintenance works for bridges and structural assets.
• Review and approve technical reports method statements designs and maintenance strategies.
• Coordinate with municipality departments consultants contractors and relevant authorities.
• Manage contracts variations claims and payment certifications.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress and technical reports.
• Ensure strict adherence to Quality Health Safety and Environmental (QHSE) requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in bridges and structures maintenance / Construction.
• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or municipal projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of bridge structures concrete and steel structures and maintenance methodologies.
• Experience in contract administration and FIDIC conditions.
• Proficiency in project management and scheduling tools (Primavera MS Project or similar).
• Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Abu Dhabi / Al Ain Municipality standards is highly preferred.
• English is mandatory; Arabic is an advantage.
