Job summary

EGIS is seeking a highly skilled BIM Engineer ELV & ICT in Dubai to deliver BIM models and manage a team, assisting with BIM development and mentoring juniors.

The role requires 8+ years of BIM electrical modelling experience, proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and ACC, and strong communication skills for cross-disciplinary coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in BIM electrical modelling.
• Experience on Middle East region projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
• Proven ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and BIM workflows.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical BIM models using Revit and related software.
• 2D drafting of schematics and single-line diagrams.
• Able to generate drawings from BIM models.
• Coordinate with architects, structural and MEP teams for clash-free designs.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks and ACC.
• Prepare detailed electrical layouts including power, lighting, cable routing.
• Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, project specs and quality standards.
• Support design teams with timely model updates and clarifications, assist with quantity take-offs and coordination drawings.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining accuracy and BIM standards.
• Support BIM manager in delivering digital outputs and sharing information with other disciplines.
• Assist in developing a content library suitable for the MEP team.

Job description

EGIS is seeking a highly skilled BIM Engineer ELV & ICT with a strong modelling more specifically parametric model to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. This position will be expected to deliver BIM models and manage a team assist with BIM development efforts in the company and help junior team members to enhance their skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and accurate electrical BIM models using Revit and related software.
• 2D Drafting of Schematics & Single-Line Diagrams
• Able to generate drawings from BIM models
• Coordinate with architects structural and MEP teams to ensure clash-free designs
• Perform interdisciplinary and interface design coordination and clash detection using Navisworks and ACC
• Prepare detailed electrical layouts including power lighting cable routing and containment systems
• Ensure all designs comply with local regulations project specs and quality standards
• Support design teams with timely model updates and technical clarificationsAssist in quantity take-offs BOQ preparations and coordination drawings
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining accuracy and BIM standards
• Supporting the BIM manager in the delivery of digital outputs within project teams and the seamless sharing of information with other discipline teams
• Support with development of a content library suitable for the MEP team

Qualifications

• Experienced in Revit AutoCAD Revizto and Navisworks for electrical system modeling.
• Experienced with working on collaboration and CDE platforms like Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in BIM electrical modelling
• Proven experience in Middle East region projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems regional standards and BIM workflows
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field
