Job summary

Al Ghurair is seeking a seasoned Production/Plant Manager to oversee batching plants, scheduling, quality control and safety compliance. You will coordinate with logistics, sales and QC, manage large pours, and drive operational efficiency in a busy concrete production environment.

The role requires 8–12 years in ready-mix production, strong supervisory experience, UAE/GCC exposure and hands-on batch plant knowledge. UAE driving license preferred and Dubai-spec compliance essential.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in ready-mix concrete production.
• 3–5 years in a supervisory or assistant-manager role running a batching plant.
• Regional experience: UAE / GCC ready-mix strongly preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of batching plant systems and controls and concrete technology.
• Good understanding of local specs (Dubai Municipality, BS EN 206 / ASTM).

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and run daily production in line with sales orders and delivery commitments.
• Oversee batching plant operations and ensure batches meet mix design and specs.
• Coordinate with Dispatch/Logistics, Sales and QC for smooth order flow and on-time site delivery.
• Manage large pours, including night and hot-weather pours; monitor plant productivity and fix bottlenecks.
• Lead, supervise, train production staff and prepare production reports and KPIs.
