Job summary

PHRS Hospitality Experts in Dubai is recruiting a Senior Barista to deliver premium coffee experiences in a luxury hospitality setting. You will lead beverage preparation, train junior baristas, and ensure exceptional guest service while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in luxury coffee environments, strong specialty coffee knowledge, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista in luxury hospitality environments.
• Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, espresso methods, milk texturing and presentation.
• Ability to support and mentor junior Baristas while maintaining high standards.
• Excellent communication in English; other languages are a plus.
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai, UAE.

As a Senior Barista, you will play a key role in delivering a premium coffee experience, combining strong technical coffee knowledge with warm, personalized guest service. You will ensure consistency in beverage quality and presentation while supporting the barista team in maintaining the highest service and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffees, teas, juices, smoothies, and other beverages according to company standards.
• Deliver warm, professional, and personalized service to every guest.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of coffee, brewing methods, ingredients, and menu offerings.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, taste, presentation, and service.
• Support and guide junior Baristas in maintaining quality and service standards.
• Prepare signature and specialty beverages with accuracy and attention to presentation.
• Operate professional coffee machines and equipment, including calibration, cleaning, and routine maintenance checks.
• Monitor stock levels, rotate products following FIFO procedures, and ensure proper storage in accordance with food safety standards.
• Support smooth and efficient operations during busy service periods.
• Process guest orders and payments accurately while following cashiering procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene throughout the work area.
• Handle guest feedback and service concerns professionally while ensuring a positive guest experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista, preferably within a luxury hotel, specialty café, fine dining restaurant, or premium hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, espresso preparation, milk texturing, and professional coffee equipment.
• Proven ability to consistently prepare high-quality beverages according to established standards.
• Experience supporting or guiding junior Baristas is an advantage.
• Genuine passion for coffee, luxury hospitality, and exceptional guest service.
• Basic Food Safety & Hygiene knowledge or training.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of spoken English; interviews will be conducted in English.
• Additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong service mindset.
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai, UAE.
