Confidential is seeking a highly experienced Senior Backup & Storage Engineer for a 12-month, full-time onsite contract in the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi/Dubai). The role focuses on enterprise backup, storage infrastructure, and disaster recovery with heavy responsibilities.

You will design, implement, and maintain backup and storage environments, manage recovery operations, admin SAN/NAS, monitor jobs, and ensure data availability and compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Backup & Storage Engineering.
• Experience with Enterprise Backup & Recovery solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SAN, NAS, and Disaster Recovery technologies.
• Experience with enterprise platforms (Veeam, NetBackup, Commvault, Dell EMC, NetApp).
• Relevant technical certifications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise backup environments, ensuring data protection, business continuity, and high system availability.
