Job summary

Marcura, a global maritime tech leader in Dubai, is seeking a Senior Back-End Software Engineer to own architecture and development of scalable compliance solutions using Django REST Framework. You will build secure, high-performance APIs for onboarding, risk assessment, and regulatory screening, while driving secure coding practices and shift-left testing.

Qualifications

5+ years of full-stack development experience with Python/Django REST Framework.
Experience in RegTech, Compliance, or FinTech solutions is a strong plus.
Strong API design and data processing pipelines in production environments.

Responsibilities

Build and own APIs powering onboarding, screening, and entity intelligence.
Expand product functionality with data-driven capabilities (search, risk scoring, etc.).
Integrate ElasticSearch for advanced query performance and analytics at scale.
Collaborate with product, design, and compliance teams to align tech with business goals.
