Job summary

MENA Alliances is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to design, develop, and deploy robust backend solutions using Django and Python in Amsterdam. You will implement scalable APIs, integrate with external systems, and contribute to architecture decisions.

You will work with Celery for task automation, emphasize security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend development experience with Python and Django.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Django integrations.
• Proficiency with Celery or similar task frameworks.
• Experience in microservices architecture and deployment strategies.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and ORM.
• Knowledge of deployment tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Translate user stories into detailed solution designs using Django and Python.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain backend services with high performance.
• Automate tasks and workflows with Celery or similar tools.
• Integrate external systems via APIs and custom microservices as needed.
• Collaborate with frontend, product owners and stakeholders to deliver software.
