Job summary

Property Finder is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team building the surfaces that bring millions of users to Property Finder every month — search, content, and localization across multiple countries and languages.

This hands-on senior role requires end-to-end ownership, architecture influence, and a strong bias for performance, reliability and cost efficiency in a high-traffic consumer-facing platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering for high-traffic, consumer-facing systems.
• Strong TypeScript (Node.js) proficiency.
• Go experience or proven ability to pick it up quickly.
• Experience designing and operating distributed services with clear API design and boundaries.
• Relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), caching (Redis), and search (OpenSearch/Elasticsearch).
• Production AWS experience with containerised workloads and strong observability practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services powering high-traffic surfaces.
• Own work end to end: design, implement, test, deploy, observe, iterate.
