Job summary

Property Finder is seeking a Software Engineer to join PF Scout, our conversational property-search experience. This hands-on full-stack role covers UI, API design, data retrieval, search, LLM integrations, observability, and production operations to deliver fast, relevant results for millions of users.

You will work across TypeScript/Node.js backends and React frontends, with responsibilities spanning design through deployment, needing strong skills in search systems, data-intensive workloads,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with production consumer-facing apps.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js backend development (Express.js, NestJS or similar).
• Experience building frontend apps with React/Next.js stack.
• Hands-on experience with search/data-intensive systems (OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Redis).
• Experience owning production services, diagnosing issues and improving reliability.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end PF Scout features across TypeScript/Node.js backend and React frontend.
• Own features from design to production: testing, deployment, observability and iteration.
• Work on search, data retrieval, ranking, caching and large property datasets.
• Develop AI-powered experiences with LLMs, tool calling and state management.
• Collaborate with product, design and data teams to turn problems into reliable solutions.
