Job summary

Property Finder is seeking a Software Engineer to build PF Scout, its conversational property-search experience. You will work across the stack, turning natural-language intent into relevant homes and actions.

This hands-on, full-stack role requires ownership from design to production, focusing on latency, relevance, reliability and cost at scale. You will collaborate with product, data, and design teams to tackle search and data-intensive challenges, including AI-powered experiences with LLMs

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js backend development
• Experience building frontend with React/Next.js
• Hands-on experience with search/data-intensive systems (OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Redis)
• Experience owning services in production and ensuring reliability and performance
• Strong testing, code quality, and pragmatic system design skills

Responsibilities

• Build and ship end-to-end PF Scout features in TS/Node.js and React
• Own features from design through production: testing, deployment, observability
• Work on search, ranking, aggregation, and data-heavy tasks
• Develop AI-powered product experiences with LLMs, tool calling, and streaming
• Collaborate with product, design, data, and other engineers to turn problems into reliable solutions
