Job summary

Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi is seeking experienced B2 Aircraft Engineers to join the Line Maintenance team. You will perform and certify maintenance, lead and guide Aircraft Technicians, and ensure work complies with regulatory and company standards.

Ideal candidates hold an Aircraft Maintenance License, 7–10 years in maintenance with at least 5 years certifying in Line Maintenance, and certifying on Etihad aircraft types with company authorization.

Qualifications

• High School Leaving Certificate / Diploma / University or College Degree.
• 7–10 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• 5+ years certifying in a Line Maintenance environment.
• 3 years certifying on at least 2 Etihad aircraft type ratings (A320/A330 NEO/A350/A380, B777/B787) with valid company authorization.

Responsibilities

• Certify own work and the work of others after verifying tasks are performed per approved data and within authorization.
• Complete all documentation accurately and on time, in accordance with procedures.
• Carry out maintenance in compliance with company, health & safety, and airport regulations.
• Ensure all materials, parts, tools, equipment, and documentation are prepared at the start of each shift.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free environment to prevent FOD.
• Provide guidance to Technicians to ensure safe and effective working practices.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are safe and serviceable.
• Demonstrate a professional approach when interacting with colleagues and customers.
• Participate in training to enhance technical capability and contribution.
• Adhere to SQMM and promote safety and positive reporting.
