Job summary

Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled B2 Aircraft Engineer with Base Maintenance experience to certify maintenance on our diverse fleet. You will lead technicians and ensure work complies with approved data, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining impeccable quality.

The role requires 5+ years certifying in base/ light maintenance and hands-on experience on Etihad aircraft types (Airbus A320/330/350/380 and Boeing 777/787).

Qualifications

• High School Leaving Certificate / Diploma / University or College Degree required.
• Valid Aircraft Maintenance License (GCAA / EASA Part-66 / ICAO Type convertible to GCAA) mandatory.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including at least 5 years certifying in Base/Light Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Certify own work and that of others after verifying tasks meet approved data and authorization scope.
• Complete all documentation accurately and on time per procedures.
• Carry out maintenance in compliance with Health, Safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance to Technicians to ensure safe and effective working practices.
• Ensure GSE and vehicle inspections are completed and documented as required.
