Job summary

Halian is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate Azure-native environments at scale in Abu Dhabi. You will own end-to-end CI/CD, infrastructure, observability, security, and cost optimization across a modern microservices platform.

This hands-on role requires ownership of production systems, automation, and proactive improvements in security, scalability, and efficiency, with exposure to AI/ML enhancements in platform engineering.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
• Strong automation skills including IaC (Terraform/ARM) and GitOps practices.
• Security-focused delivery lifecycle with SAST/DAST/secret scanning and policy-as-code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for complex microservices on Azure.
• Own Azure infrastructure (AKS, Front Door, APIM, ACR) with reliability and cost efficiency.
• Implement IaC and GitOps as source of truth for deployments.
• Embed security into delivery lifecycle (DevSecOps) with scanning and policy-as-code.
• Drive observability with dashboards, tracing, and fast incident diagnosis.
• Champion FinOps and cost-awareness across engineering and finance.
