Job summary

Rakbank is seeking an Associate Vice President & Solution Architect to drive the bank's architectural vision and lead end-to-end core banking design in the UAE. The role requires extensive Finacle expertise, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of conventional and Islamic banking practices.

You will own architecture for CIF, Loans & Liabilities, GL, VAM, and Liquidity Solutions, and guide integration with channels, payments, CRM, risk, and data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or related field.
• 10+ years in Banking/Financial Services tech with core banking focus.
• Hands-on Finacle customization experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with UAE/regional regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor solution architects to ensure high-quality architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into technical requirements.
• Design and develop core banking solutions focusing on Finacle customization.
• Ensure UAE banking regulations and best practices are met.
• Stay updated on core banking trends and enterprise architecture.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide performance improvement recommendations.
• Work with development teams for efficient solution delivery.
• Document architectural decisions for stakeholders.
• Provide estimates for architecture efforts during planning.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
