Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is establishing a Group-wide Compliance Assurance function to develop and execute a risk-based testing plan across UAE operations. The role will involve planning and delivering testing reviews, reporting deficiencies, and supporting remediation with business units.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in banking compliance, at least four years in a bank or audit setting, and relevant certifications; they will collaborate with global teams to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Management, Banking or Finance.
• 4+ years of experience in a reputed bank or auditing firm.
• 2+ years experience in compliance monitoring and testing activities or in auditing.
• Preferred / Beneficial Certification in compliance, corporate governance, risk management or internal audit.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing reviews within the Group; support UAE testing plan development and schedules.
• Consult with relevant UAE departments to ensure coverage scope and targeted delivery.
• Execute compliance testing reviews including control design assessment and operational effectiveness testing.
• Prepare testing reports and track remediation activity.
• Contribute to evaluating and refining testing methodologies with local and global colleagues.
• Upload issues identified on the Compliance issue management system.
• Support Compliance Assurance team members on ad hoc tasks.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Management, Banking or Finance

Certification in compliance, corporate governance, risk management or internal audit (preferred)
