Job summary

The Meydan Hotel in Dubai is seeking an experienced AV Technician to install, operate, and maintain audio-visual systems for events and daily operations. You will work with the Events, IT, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless AV delivery and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include setting up projectors, sound systems, video conferencing, and lighting, troubleshooting issues, and training staff on equipment use, with a focus on guest experience and reliability.

Qualifications

• Audio Visual Technical Diploma or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with multi-input AV systems and projectors.
• Experience in hotel or events environments preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up projectors, sound systems, video conferencing, LCD/plasma screens, and cameras.
• Test equipment before events and operate during rehearsals and live events.
• Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems as needed.
• Manage equipment booking and inventory records.
• Train banquet staff on operation of AV equipment.
• Coordinate with Events, IT, and Engineering teams to meet client needs.
