Job summary

Cognizant in UAE is seeking an experienced Automation Tester to drive quality across web, mobile, and API platforms. The role requires hands-on automation expertise and a proactive approach to delivering robust test coverage.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in automation testing, strong Selenium and Appium skills, and experience with API automation, CI/CD, and defect tracking tools like Azure DevOps and JIRA. Airline domain exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

8+ years in automation testing.
UI, Mobile App, and API automation experience.
Selenium: 5+ years (Mandatory) and Appium: 2+ years (Mandatory).
Experience in API automation testing.
CI/CD pipeline experience.
Airline domain exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing using automated scripts.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Provide detailed test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc.
