Job summary

Partner Company seeks a Sr. Automation Tester in the UAE to ensure quality and security for a code modernization initiative. You will translate requirements into test plans, develop automated and manual tests, and collaborate across teams to strengthen testing practices.

You will participate in backend validation with APIs and databases, contribute to CI/CD integration, and support accessibility, performance, and security testing as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Active IRS MBI clearance is required.
• Experience writing, maintaining, and executing test scripts.
• Hands-on with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.
• Experience with backend testing, APIs, SQL.
• Understanding of CI/CD and SDLC.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and translate to comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts.
• Set up and manage test environments for different testing activities.
• Perform functional, regression, acceptance, and other testing as needed.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium or Cypress.
• Identify, document, and track defects with development teams.
• Perform backend testing involving APIs and databases, including SQL validation.
• Integrate testing activities into CI/CD throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
• Evaluate test results and provide feedback on quality and risks.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and automation coverage.
• Support non-functional testing including accessibility, performance, and security.
