MRG is partnering with a leading hospitality and real estate investment organisation in the UAE to appoint a Senior Associate – Investment Management.

This is an exciting opportunity for an analytically driven investment professional to join a high-performing corporate investment team, supporting strategic acquisitions, hospitality expansion initiatives, joint ventures, valuations, and investment performance analysis across a growing portfolio of assets and developments.

Working closely with senior leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in investment evaluation, financial modelling, market intelligence, and strategic decision-making, contributing to the continued growth of a dynamic hospitality and real estate platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct independent investment research and perform detailed quantitative and qualitative market analysis.
• Support the execution of investment management activities, including acquisitions, expansion opportunities, joint ventures, and strategic initiatives.
• Analyse historical and current financial performance to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial and valuation models for investment analysis and decision-making.
• Prepare investment committee papers, board presentations, market assessments, and executive-level reporting materials.
• Build and maintain comprehensive databases covering hospitality operators, brands, market benchmarks, and key investment metrics.
• Produce detailed market intelligence reports and investment matrices to support strategic planning.
• Assist in the preparation of business cases, feasibility studies, valuations, and acquisition proposals.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and long-term investment strategy development.
• Contribute to the preparation of five-year business plans and periodic performance reporting.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and group entities to ensure alignment on investment priorities and market opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends, market movements, and competitive activity to support informed investment decisions.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking ambitious investment professionals with a strong blend of financial, analytical, and commercial capabilities.

Requirements

• 5–6 years of relevant professional experience within investment management, hospitality consulting, real estate advisory, corporate finance, or transaction services.
• Experience gained within hospitality, real estate, investment, advisory, or consulting environments.
• Previous exposure to hospitality feasibility studies, investment analysis, valuations, acquisitions, or development projects is highly desirable.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and investment analysis tools.
• Strong market research and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Regional Middle East experience would be advantageous.
• Experience with a Big Four advisory firm, a hospitality consultancy, an investment platform, an operator, or a feasibility advisory team is highly desirable.
• Immediate or short-notice availability is considered a strong advantage.
