Job summary

WSP Middle East seeks a Senior Professional – Strategic Asset Management with deep expertise in asset condition assessments and SAM. You will lead the growth of condition assessment capability within SAM across the Property & Buildings business in the Middle East, building a high-performing team and coordinating with global SAM experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Built Environment, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in engineering consultancy, client-side roles or both.
• Experience in condition assessments and SAM, with practical, evidence-based recommendations.
• Solid understanding of SAM vs Facilities Management and applying SAM to portfolios.
• Proven leadership and ability to build multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for non-routine challenges.
• Commercial acumen with track record in client relationships and growth.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management across levels, including C-suite.
• Knowledge of Middle East codes, standards, and regulatory practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and growth of condition assessment capability within SAM for the Middle East.
• Build a high-performing team capable of delivering complex assessments and supporting SAM programs.
• Identify opportunities to integrate SAM across WSP’s capabilities and services.
• Provide independent technical and strategic leadership with senior leadership.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated SAM solutions.
