Job summary

Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Architectural Engineer to lead complex villa and residential projects, from client brief through to handover, with a strong grasp of Abu Dhabi Municipality processes.

Candidates must hold current Abu Dhabi Municipality (DMT) registration and have extensive experience in submissions, permits, building codes, and coordinating with authorities, clients, and draftsmen.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering consultancy, preferably in Abu Dhabi.
• Must hold valid Abu Dhabi Municipality (DMT) engineering registration.
• Excellent knowledge of TAMM and Abu Dhabi Municipality systems, including submissions, approvals, permits, and procedures.
• Strong understanding of Abu Dhabi Municipality regulations, building codes, for residential and commercial projects.
• Ability to manage the entire project lifecycle from client visit to handover.
• Experience preparing and submitting architectural drawings, building permits, revisions, inspections, and completion certificates.
• Knowledge of project payment procedures, payment applications, progress payments, consultant certifications, and government housing programs.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, contractors, authorities, and other engineering disciplines.
• Experience supervising draftsmen and ensuring compliance with municipality requirements.
• Understanding of correct sequence of consultancy procedures, approvals, construction stages, and handover.
• Ability to independently manage multiple villa and residential projects.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
