Senior Architect: Dynamics 365 F&O / SCM Global ERP

Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Technical Architect for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / SCM to own the technical integrity of the ERP platform within our international trading group. You will design architectures for customizations and integrations, oversee ALM, performance, and releases, and collaborate with global teams across GCC, China, and beyond.

Lead reviews, govern standards, manage technical debt, and drive D365 F&O deployments from development through go-live.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / Dynamics AX.
• Strong knowledge of X++ programming.
• Experience designing extension-based solutions for ERP.
• Understanding of D365 F&O architecture: models, packages, tables, forms, data entities, batch, security.
• Experience with integrations using OData, DMF, custom services, and events.
• Experience with LCS, Azure DevOps, and build/release pipelines.
• Code reviews and technical design reviews experience.
• Performance troubleshooting in D365 F&O.
• Experience across Dev, Test, UAT, PreProd, Prod environments.
• Understanding of ALM and release management principles.
• Fluent English for international collaboration.
• 5+ years in similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Design the technical architecture of D365 F&O solutions.
• Define approaches to customizations, extensions, and integrations.
• Conduct technical design reviews for major customizations.
• Control quality of X++ development and oversee deployments.
• Independently develop complex customizations when required.
• Set standards for development, integrations, logging, and batch processing.
• Design data flows to DWH / Power BI and integrate with external systems.
• Manage ERP platform technical debt and performance impact.
• Participate in release planning and go-live readiness.
• Collaborate with external vendors and international teams across regions.
