Job summary
AIQ in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Specialist - Project Management (APC SME) to oversee APC installation and maintainance on site, coordinating with engineers and contractors. You will apply advanced process control methods including MPC and work across DCS environments.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Control/Instrumentation or Electronic Engineering, with 7+ years APC experience, familiarity with ADNOC HSE standards, and strong OT/IT/network integration skills.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience in Advanced Process Control (APC).
- 5+ years of onsite installation, configuration, and support as lead engineer.
- Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and multiple vendors (Honeywell, Yokogawa, Siemens, ABB).
- Strong OT/IT network architecture knowledge.
- Experience with OPC servers and OSI PI historian.
- Familiarity with ADNOC HSE safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee onsite APC installation and configuration across projects.
- Develop and implement APC control strategies, including MPC.
- Coordinate I&C activities and ensure safety, quality, and standards.
- Review test procedures, participate in tests, and report progress.
- Liaise with ADNOC/Client, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Maintain site progress reports and handover packages.
