Job summary

AIQ is seeking a Senior Specialist - Project Management (APC SME) in Abu Dhabi to oversee installation and maintenance of Advanced Process Control systems (AspenTech or Honeywell). The role covers all project phases to ensure timely installation and configuration and ongoing support for operation and site engineers.

You will work with I&C, DCS knowledge, and ADNOC HSE requirements, leading onsite testing, MPC implementation, and IT/OT coordination to meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Advanced Process Control (APC) experience.
• 5+ years onsite installation, configuration and support as lead engineer.
• Mandatory DCS knowledge; ADNOC HSE familiarity preferred.
• Mandatory experience with OPC servers and OSI PI historian.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite step testing for processes and well operations.
• Apply DLM and MPC techniques for production optimization.
• Implement MPC to optimize complex processes in real time.
• Review and approve I&C and OPC equipment design and engineering matters.
• Coordinate IT/OT technical requirements and standards compliance.
• Ensure safety functions are integrated into all work aspects.
