Job summary

Astra ProMed in Dubai invites applications for a Consultant / Specialist Anesthesiologist to join our leading healthcare facility. The role focuses on delivering high-quality anesthesia services across elective and emergency surgeries, with emphasis on patient safety and evidence-based practice.

We seek internationally trained professionals with extensive expertise in general and regional anesthesia, perioperative management, and advanced airway skills.

Qualifications

• Extensive expertise in general and regional anesthesia and perioperative care.
• Experience with advanced airway management and perioperative patient safety.
• Eligible for DHA Consultant or Specialist license in Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia services for elective and emergency surgeries.
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia plans.
• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia within privileges.
• Perform advanced airway management and difficult airway procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and manage anesthesia-related emergencies.
• Collaborate with surgeons and nursing teams; supervise junior physicians.
• Ensure DHA regulations and infection control standards.
