Job summary

SearchPlus HR invites experienced Anesthesia Specialists and Consultants to join a prestigious Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE. The role covers perioperative care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases within a well-equipped hospital.

The successful candidate will manage a broad range of surgical cases, provide safe anesthesia, and contribute to teaching and governance in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Anesthesia/Anaesthesiology.
• Experience as a specialist or consultant in anesthesia.
• UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or German Board are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and plan anesthesia.
• Administer and manage general, regional, and other anesthesia techniques.
• Monitor patients intra-operatively and respond to changes in condition.
• Provide perioperative management for complex and emergency cases.
• Ensure post-operative pain management and recovery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and nursing staff.
• Participate in emergency response and critical care as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with safety standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement and CPD initiatives.
• Support junior physicians and participate in teaching.
