Serco in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Senior Airspace & Flight Procedure Design Specialist to lead technical design efforts for Sharjah DCA and UAE airspace modernization.

You will oversee CTA redesign, SIDs/STARs, PBN applications, and ensure safety, operational viability, and regulatory alignment through data, simulations, and stakeholder engagement.

The role requires extensive ATC/ATM background and proven leadership in complex airspace projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of ATM/ANS experience.
• Minimum 8 years of ATC experience with radar/area control.
• Formal PANS-OPS flight procedure design training.
• Formal training in PBN airspace design.
• Competence under a recognised Flight Procedure Designer training/competency scheme (OJT/refresher).
• Professional fluency in English.

Responsabilités

• Act as Sharjah DCA’s principal technical representative for airspace and procedure design.
• Oversee redesign and enhancement of the Dubai CTA and UAE airspace modernization.
• Design and optimize airspace serving Sharjah aerodrome interfaces and approach control.
• Assess feasibility and, with approval, implement Sharjah CTA and Approach Control service.
• Develop, coordinate, review and assure airspace concepts and requirements.
• Ensure solutions are safe, operationally workable, capacity-efficient and regulatorily aligned.
