Job summary

Serco in the UAE seeks a Head of Training & Regulatory Compliance for Air Navigation Services. The role requires UAE GCAA approval and oversees all ATS training standards, with a focus on building a robust Training and Standards Management System across the ME ANS portfolio.

The position involves strategic leadership, regulatory alignment, and business development to grow the advisory and academy portfolio while ensuring safety and compliance across all ANS operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years general operations management experience, ideally 10.
• 5 years of operations management experience within transportation.
• Working knowledge of the management of Air Navigation Services Providers.
• Ideally a degree holder in relevant engineering, aviation or related discipline.
• Proven track record of managing multiple complex contracts.
• Proven track record of business development wins and/or large contract organic growth.
• Thorough understanding of all aspects of safety issues related to ANS operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction, planning and managing the development and implementation of policies for ANS operations.
• Lead on innovation and developing new capabilities across the ANS portfolio.
• Lead on elevating SME profile as a leading ANSP with stakeholders and regulators.
• Update SOPs and align work instructions with customer requirements and regulations.
• Ensure timely reporting on operational, compliance and safety matters.
• Maintain and update the ANS legal register.
