Serco is seeking a Senior Airspace & Flight Procedure Design Specialist in Sharjah, UAE, to lead technical airspace design and flight procedure activity for the Sharjah DCA and UAE airspace modernisation. You will head the technical representation, coordinate design teams, validate procedures (SIDs, STARs, ATS routes) and ensure safety, compliance and performance objectives across the project.

The role requires extensive ATC experience, PBN/OPs training, and excellent writing and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Current or former ATCO licence or equivalent operational qualification.
• Substantial operational experience in radar approach and/or area control mandatory.
• Formal PANS-OPS flight procedure design training from a recognised provider.
• Formal training in PBN airspace design or equivalent programme.
• Demonstrated competence under a recognised Flight Procedure Designer training and competency scheme.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Lead Sharjah DCA participation in Dubai CTA redesign and UAE airspace modernisation.
• Define Sharjah operational requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Represent Sharjah at technical meetings and reviews.
• Develop airspace concepts for CTR/TMA/CTA interfaces and routes.
• Coordinate verification, simulations, and validation activities.
• Ensure airspace and procedures comply with safety, regulatory and publication requirements.
• Lead capability development and training within Serco and the DCA.
