Job summary

Transguard Workforce Solutions is seeking a Production Planning Officer to own the end-to-end engine production planning cycle for engine repair/overhaul in Dubai. You will ensure on-time delivery, regulatory compliance, and efficient use of materials, tooling, and manpower across engineering, production, quality, and supply chain.

The role requires 5+ years in aviation MRO with engine shop experience, strong knowledge of OEM data, and hands-on use of MRO ERP systems for work order management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance License (Part-66 or equivalent)
• 5+ years in aviation MRO with at least 3 years in production planning (engine shop/powerplant)
• Experience preparing engine work packs and scheduling module-level tasks (Fan/LPC/HPC/HPT/LPT/Accessory Gearbox)
• Hands-on use of MRO ERP for WO management, materials, and labor
• Knowledge of OEM engine data and airworthiness: AD/SB/EO, CMM/EM/ESM; Part-145 procedures
• Demonstrable man-hour estimation, capacity planning, and TAT management
• Excellent cross-functional communication; run daily WIP/tier meetings and drive actions

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule engine production (daily/weekly) including module routing, hold points, and test cell.
• Sequence work orders to meet TAT; manage critical path and recoveries.
• Prepare and customize engine work packs / task cards per OEM data (CFM/GE/PW/RR), AD/SB/EO and Part-145.
• Ensure all work instructions, inspection points, and acceptance criteria are embedded.
• Identify and preload tools, GSE, fixtures, and consumables per workscope/module.
• Coordinate material reservations, shortages, and kit completeness with Supply Chain/Stores.
• Estimate man-hours per module/task; balance capacity vs. load; adjust as needed.
• Publish daily progress reports (WOs aging, bottlenecks, NCRs, parts on order).
• Drive daily stand-ups; elevate risks early with recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with Part-145, OEM and airworthiness; support audits.
