Job summary

VentureOne in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior AI Engineer to lead design, build, and scale AI-enabled products, including LLM apps, RAG systems, agents, and automation. You will collaborate with the Foundry team to translate complex problems into practical AI solutions.

You will own end-to-end development from concept to MVP, drive evaluation plans, ensure safety and reliability, and mentor junior engineers while staying aligned with product goals and customer validation.

Qualifications

• Experience building applied AI products and AI platforms.
• Ability to lead technical direction for AI systems in complex environments.
• Hands-on with LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, RAG, model APIs, and orchestration.
• Experience creating AI agents, tool calling workflows, and automation.
• Strong Python programming and production software practices.
• Familiarity with LangChain, vector stores, and AI observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of AI-enabled products from concept to MVP.
• Translate business problems into AI solution designs and evaluation plans.
• Design and build LLM-based applications via APIs, hosted inference, or private deployments.
• Build RAG systems with document ingestion, embeddings, and search.
• Develop AI agents and tool-calling workflows across data sources and systems.
• Design multi-step AI workflows with planning, guardrails, and traceability.
• Create evaluation pipelines and assess model quality, latency, and costs.
• Ensure safety, privacy, and robust failure handling in AI systems.
