Job summary

Abu Dhabi-based enterprise is seeking a Staff AI Software Engineer to shape, design and ship production-grade AI/ML systems at scale. This senior technical leader role blends hands-on engineering with strategic influence across core operations, risk, and customer-facing products.

You will mentor engineers, set engineering standards, and partner with data science and product teams to translate business problems into deployable AI solutions in a regulated enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and deploying ML/AI systems at scale.
• Strong software engineering background with Python and production languages.
• Experience with MLOps and cloud infrastructure in production.
• Staff/Principal-level experience or equivalent as a technical lead.
• Comfortable working in a regulated, enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable AI/ML systems from prototype to production.
• Lead technical design decisions across the engineering team.
• Partner with data science, product, and engineering to translate business problems into deployable AI solutions.
• Set and champion engineering best practices, MLOps, model monitoring, and responsible AI.
• Mentor engineers and act as a technical reference point across the function.
