Job summary

A seasoned Accountant in Abu Dhabi is sought to manage financial transactions, ensure ledger accuracy, and support VAT and corporate tax compliance. The role requires coordinating with internal teams, audits, and ERP-driven reporting.

Responsibilities include AP/AR management, GL maintenance, bank reconciliations, and month-/year-end close. 5–7 years UAE experience is preferred, with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Proficiency in AP/AR processes and general ledger accounting.
• Strong understanding of VAT regulations and VAT return preparation.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
• Prepare and process bank reconciliations.
• Calculate and file VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations.
• Support corporate tax preparation and filing.
• Utilize ERP systems to record transactions and generate financial reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams during financial audits.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
