Job summary

BEOND in Dubai seeks a Senior Accountant to own day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities. You will handle high-volume vendor invoices, manual journal entries, and reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial records and timely closings.

The role requires hands-on data entry, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel and Oracle NetSuite, with IFRS knowledge and 7–10 years of experience in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Experience handling high-volume vendor invoices and multi-currency intercompany accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data cleaning.
• Experience with IFRS and financial close processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA/CPA/CMA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices and daily manual data entry in Excel and the accounting system.
• Prepare and post manual journal entries (accruals, prepayments, reclasses, adjustments).
• Reconcile AP, GL, bank, and intercompany accounts across multiple entities and currencies.
• Classify costs and allocate expenses across departments and entities.
• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Manage vendor records and ensure timely payments; resolve queries.
• Support audits with schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and internal controls.
