Job summary

FlyBeond is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The role focuses on hands-on accounting, including high-volume data entry, manual journal entries, and reconciliations across multiple entities and currencies.

You will own day-to-day accounting operations, support month-end close, and ensure IFRS compliance while maintaining strong internal controls and accurate financial records in Excel and Oracle NetSuite.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on accounting experience in a multi-entity environment.
• Experience with high-volume vendor invoices and vendor relationships.
• Proficient in Excel and an accounting system for manual entries and journals.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and multi-currency reconciliations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA/CPA/CMA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices and handle daily manual data entry in Excel and the accounting system.
• Prepare and post manual journal entries (accruals, prepayments, reclassifications, adjustments) and maintain accounts and schedules in Excel.
• Reconcile AP, GL, bank, and intercompany accounts across multiple entities and currencies.
• Classify costs and allocate expenses across departments and entities.
• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Manage vendor relationships: maintain vendor records, resolve queries and discrepancies, ensure timely payments.
• Support audits with schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and IFRS.
