Job summary

Cigna Healthcare in Dubai seeks a Senior Accountant to analyze and report financial results for business operations. The role focuses on monthly close, audit support, regular regulatory reporting, and ad hoc process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in general ledger accounting, preferably with experience in healthcare or insurance, and strong analytical and communication skills within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Audit.
• CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred but not required.
• 3+ years in general ledger accounting with full month-end close.
• Experience in insurance or healthcare preferred.
• Strong analytic and communication capabilities.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and reporting of financial results for business operations.
• Close monthly financials and assist with audit and regulatory reporting.
• Prepare quarterly and year-end exhibits.
• Analyze and reconcile ledger accounts monthly.
• Prepare regulatory reporting requirements quarterly.
• Support Treasury with deposits, cash monitoring and transfers.
