Job summary

Aldar Development (Aldar Properties PJSC) is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead group consolidation and financial reporting across the real estate portfolio. You will prepare consolidation schedules, close activities, journals, reconciliations and management reports, and support audits with robust documentation.

The role requires IFRS expertise, strong ERP and Excel skills, and a CPA/CIMA/CA/ACCA or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in financial and management accounting.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel and financial reporting tools; Oracle experience preferred.
• Experience in real estate or related industry preferred.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CIMA, CA, ACCA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual Group consolidation and financial reporting.
• Prepare consolidation schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual close across assigned entities and ledgers.
• Prepare journals, accruals, provisions, reclassifications and period-end adjustments.
• Prepare and review general ledger, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audits with schedules, reconciliations, financial statements and documentation.
• Assist in preparing variance analysis, financial analysis and management reports.
• Use AI-enabled, analytics and digital tools to support reconciliations, financial reporting and analysis.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to automate repetitive finance activities.
