Job summary

Minar Overseas Connect in Dubai is seeking a Senior Accountant with 5+ years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations and compliance within the fragrance manufacturing sector.

You will maintain books, handle payables and receivables, prepare MIS and management reports, assist budgeting and cash flow planning, and coordinate with auditors and banks. This is an on-site Dubai role with visa, medical insurance, and annual flight eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably at Senior Accountant level.
• Mandatory fragrance industry experience or closely related fragrance manufacturing experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations and statutory compliance.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance. The candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting practices and preferably experience handling finance and accounting functions within a fragrance manufacturing or related fragrance business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and finance activities
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and accounting records
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, supplier payments, collections, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports
• Perform bank, ledger, vendor, and customer reconciliations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial planning
• Monitor expenses, outstanding receivables, payables, and working capital
• Ensure timely completion of statutory and tax-related compliances
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, suppliers, and other external stakeholders
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal financial controls
• Support management with financial analysis and other accounting-related requirements
• Identify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution of accounting issues.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably at Senior Accountant level
• Mandatory experience in the Fragrance/Perfumery industry or closely related fragrance manufacturing business
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance
• Experience with ERP/accounting software and strong MS Excel skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidates should preferably be currently based in India and have experience with established fragrance companies.

The job location for all the above position is in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
