Job summary
Durucooperation in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Painting & Coating Inspector with hands-on 3LPP coating experience to oversee coating inspection and quality control activities. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of relevant experience, along with BGAS or NACE Level 2 and a relevant Painting/Coating Inspection Certification.
The role involves inspecting surface preparation, coating application, thickness, curing, and validating materials and tests (DFT, adhesion).
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of painting & coating inspection experience.
- Hands-on with 3LPP coating systems.
- Valid BGAS or NACE Level 2 certification.
- Relevant Painting/Coating Inspection Certification.
- Strong knowledge of surface prep, coating application and inspection methods.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspection of painting and coating activities per procedures and specs.
- Monitor 3LPP coating application and verify compliance.
- Inspect surface preparation, cleanliness, profile, and curing.
- Verify materials, batch details, mixing, application and storage.
- Conduct coating tests (DFT, holiday detection, adhesion).
- Identify defects and support corrective actions.
- Review inspection records and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with coating teams, QA/QC, engineers and client reps.
- Maintain accurate inspection reports and traceability.
- Ensure compliance with project quality and HSE requirements.
