Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Painting & Coating Inspector with hands-on 3LPP (Three-Layer Polypropylene) coating experience to oversee coating inspection and quality control activities. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of relevant experience, along with BGAS or NACE Level 2 and a relevant Painting/Coating Inspection Certification.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform inspection of painting and coating activities in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, and project requirements.


• Monitor 3LPP coating application and verify compliance with approved coating procedures and specifications.


• Inspect surface preparation, cleanliness, profile, environmental conditions, primer/coating application, thickness, and curing.


• Verify coating materials, batch details, mixing ratios, application methods, and storage requirements.


• Conduct and review relevant coating tests, including DFT, holiday detection, adhesion, surface profile, and visual inspection as applicable.


• Identify and report coating defects, deviations, and non-conformities and support corrective actions.


• Review coating inspection records, test reports, material certificates, and related quality documentation.


• Coordinate with coating teams, QA/QC personnel, engineers, and client representatives during inspection activities.


• Maintain accurate inspection reports and ensure traceability of coating activities.


• Ensure all inspection activities comply with project quality and HSE requirements.

Mandatory Requirements

• 5-7 years of relevant Painting & Coating Inspection experience.


• Proven hands-on experience with 3LPP coating systems.


• Valid BGAS or NACE Level 2 certification.


• Relevant Painting/Coating Inspection Certification.


• Strong knowledge of surface preparation, coating application, inspection procedures, and acceptance criteria.


• Experience with coating inspection instruments and testing methods.


• Ability to read and interpret coating specifications, procedures, drawings, and inspection documentation.


• Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.


• Willingness to work in the UAE for the specified contract duration.
