Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Sr. 3D Model Application Engineer for an Offshore Water Injection Project based in Abu Dhabi.

The role involves managing 3D modeling, digital engineering tools, and coordination across disciplines to support FEED through commissioning. With 10–15+ years in oil & gas and offshore EPC environments, you will lead model integration, quality assurance, and constructability reviews, including laser scans, MOC, and digital handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• AVEVA E3D or SP3D certification preferred.
• 10–15+ years in engineering design and 3D model administration for Oil & Gas projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior 3D modeling or application engineering role.
• Experience supporting offshore EPC projects and brownfield modifications.
• ADNOC Offshore or Middle East project experience highly preferred.
• Experience with offshore facilities, water injection projects, and digital engineering workflows desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage project 3D modeling platforms and databases.
• Develop and maintain 3D model execution plans, workflows, and standards.
• Ensure model quality and compliance with project specs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary model development across disciplines.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely milestones.
• Integrate engineering data from multiple disciplines into the 3D model.
• Conduct model reviews and clash detection sessions.
• Manage tie-ins and modifications for brownfield work.
• Support construction sequencing, handover, and asset information management.
• Provide training and technical support for digital engineering tools.
