Job summary

LEAMS Education in Dubai is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher / Special Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or Psychology with relevant teaching experience and is currently in the UAE, ready to join immediately.

Candidates with Own/Spouse/Dependent visas are preferred. The role focuses on Inclusion policy implementation, individualized planning, and collaboration with parents and staff to support students with special needs

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Special Education or Psychology with relevant teaching experience.
Currently in UAE and ready to join immediately.
Candidates with Own/Spouse/Dependent visa preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure inclusion policy objectives are reflected across all phases of the school.
Assess students’ skills to determine their needs and to develop teaching plans.
Adaptation of the curriculum and its assessment to meet individual student needs
Recording of learning data related to SoD students and monitoring progress
Creating Individual Education Plans or Behaviour Plans by liaising with the SLT, School Counselor, Class Teacher and Parents
Implement IEPs, assess students’ performance, and track their progress.
Plan, organize, and assign activities that are specific to each student’s abilities.
Discuss student’s progress with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators.
Mentor LSA's who work with students with special needs.
Previous experience of working in an inclusive school is preferred
Candidates in Sponsored/Own Visa preferred.
