Job summary

Hilton Dubai Waldorf Astoria is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee daily security operations, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and Team Members. You will lead a security team, supervise officers, coordinate patrols, monitor surveillance, manage emergencies, and liaise with authorities, while upholding luxury service standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in security operations within a luxury hotel, resort, or equivalent setting.
• Proven track record of leading and supervising a security team in a fast-paced guest-focused environment.
• In-depth knowledge of security operations including surveillance, access control, emergencies and risk management.
• Strong understanding of local laws, regulations and safety compliance standards relevant to hotel operations.
• Formal security training certifications or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Exceptional leadership and organizational skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, guide and support Security Officers to ensure adherence to hotel policies, safety procedures and luxury service standards.
• Coordinate and oversee daily security operations across all hotel areas including guest floors, public spaces and back-of-house.
• Conduct regular patrols, inspections, and hazard checks to identify vulnerabilities and implement preventive measures.
• Monitor surveillance systems, access control points and overall security systems to protect guests, staff and hotel property.
• Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, incidents and guest concerns, including assisting visitors and employees.
• Assist the Security Manager in handling incidents, investigations and interviews while maintaining confidentiality.
• Support fire life safety and emergency procedures, including drills and exercises.
• Maintain accurate daily records, shift logs and incident reports in line with standards.
• Handle interruptions and escort unwelcome persons from the property when necessary.
• Liaise with local authorities and emergency services in the absence of the Security Manager.
