Job summary

Paramount Midtown Hotel is seeking a hands-on Security Supervisor to lead daily security operations on shift, supervising outsourced guards and coordinating incidents to maintain safety and guest experience. You will implement hotel security policies, prepare reports, and liaise with law enforcement when required.

The role demands at least 2 years in security or related fields, a valid SIRA certificate, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High School qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Security, Safety, Emergency Services, Military or Police role.
• Valid SIRA Certificate is mandatory.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Computer literate with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong report-writing, communication and organizational skills.
• Sound judgement with a hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Calm and confident under pressure, with the ability to take control of incidents.
• Experience working with law enforcement or emergency services is an advantage.
• Training or teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with duty rosters, staff performance reviews and team discipline.
• Maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our guests and cast.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
