Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Physics lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum requirements.
- Prepare schemes of work, daily lesson plans, assessments, presentations, and classroom resources.
- Teach topics such as mechanics, electricity, energy, waves, forces, thermal physics, and atomic structure.
- Use experiments, demonstrations, digital tools, and real‑world examples to strengthen understanding.
- Encourage analytical thinking, scientific reasoning, problem‑solving, and independent learning.
- Monitor student attainment and identify areas requiring additional support.
- Assess classwork, homework, projects, tests, and examinations accurately.
- Maintain clear records of attendance, assessment, progress, and intervention.
- Provide constructive feedback that improves subject understanding and academic performance.
- Apply differentiated teaching strategies for students with varied learning needs.
- Maintain effective classroom management and positive student engagement.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning.
- Ensure classroom practice complies with KHDA regulations and CBSE academic standards.
- Stay informed about current educational trends, curriculum updates, and teaching methods.
- Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, school leaders, and support teams.
- Participate in departmental meetings, assessment moderation, school events, and professional development.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress when required.
- Support science exhibitions, physics projects, competitions, and academic enrichment activities.
- Follow safeguarding, inclusion, health and safety, and professional conduct procedures.
- Demonstrate leadership through initiative, collaboration, and consistent academic expectations.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a closely related field.
- Master’s degree in Physics or a relevant subject.
- Recognized teaching qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of UAE teaching experience.
- Previous experience teaching Physics in a CBSE curriculum school is preferred.
- Strong understanding of CBSE Physics standards and assessment expectations.
- Good knowledge of KHDA regulations and Dubai school requirements.
- Proven curriculum development and lesson‑planning capability.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to contribute to departmental improvement.
- Ability to analyse assessment data and implement suitable academic interventions.
- Strong awareness of current educational trends and modern teaching practices.
- Must currently be physically present in the United Arab Emirates.
- Must be available to join immediately.
