Job summary

The Arbor School in Abu Dhabi seeks a dedicated Secondary Inclusion Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs across the Secondary School. You will collaborate with the Learning Support and Enrichment Department, classroom teachers and families to implement tailored interventions and ensure students receive the necessary support to thrive.

You will employ a holistic, reflective teaching approach, align with the British curriculum, and promote independence, confidence and wellbeing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years' teaching experience in inclusion or SEN settings.
• Strong understanding of the British curriculum at Secondary level.
• Experience developing individualised learning plans and differentiated teaching.
• Fluent or native-level English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard and promote welfare of all students in line with Arbor policies.
• Plan and deliver differentiated, inclusive learning experiences meeting individual needs.
• Develop, implement and review individualised learning plans and targeted interventions.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt curriculum and assessment for accessibility.
• Maintain records of student progress and support strategies.
